I have teamed up with a local organization and will be able to provide those mothers attempting to raise their young baby on their own with most necessities. So I guess you are wondering why I started something like this. Well I want to help in any way I can. I have walked in your shoes, I have felt the pain, released the anger, and shoved the rage so far down I thought I was going to explode. However, I learned that WE cannot change others, only God can do that. WE cannot make someone be someone they never were. We can only be there for our joys of life, and let God carry us through the storm. I spent the entirety of my pregnancy alone, and up until my child was three I was still full of hatred. One day, I realized that holding that hatred didn't affect HIM any, so why was I letting it affect ME? So I stopped, however it always crosses my mind, why, how could you, never look back, pay up, and more and more. I never want him to turn around, I simply want HIM to provide. Abandonment is done, but the financials are always going to be there. Legally he has NO rights, morally he has every responsibility in the world, to provide. I could not lay my head on my pillow every single night, knowing that I had moved on, forgotten my own blood, started a new life with a new mate and a new child, and think that I could ever possibly feel good about myself ever again. God will NOT let you forget your mishaps, if you do not openly ask for forgiveness. Do the right thing guys and girls, if you walked away, it's never too late to walk back, unless the time says so, then it is ultimately up to you to do the Godly thing, and provide for the child you created. It's sad that men and women both, think running is the answer, where are you going to go, the child is going to grow and become an adult one day as well, would you like for your child to run, I think not. Maturity is earned not learned. Turn to God in all times of doubt, and when you are to scared, to embarrassed, or too weak to walk, just ask and he will carry you.

SECTION 20-7-50. Unlawful conduct towards child.
(A) It is unlawful for a person who has charge or custody of a child, or who is the parent or guardian of a child, or who is responsible for the welfare of a child as defined in Section 20-7-490(3) to:
(1) place the child at unreasonable risk of harm affecting the child's life, physical or mental health, or safety;
(2) do or cause to be done unlawfully or maliciously any bodily harm to the child so that the life or health of the child is endangered or likely to be endangered; or
(3) wilfully abandon the child.
(B) A person who violates subsection (A) is guilty of a felony and for each offense, upon conviction, must be fined in the discretion of the court or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both.
