Dead Beat Dads of the Carolinas

Sometimes we are in a relationship that is going good, moving along, and building trusts, others are in a relationship of abuse or neglect. Whether it be a good or a bad relationship, no determination of whether that particular "Father," will uphold to his responsibilities. No man is predestined with a sign over his head that says, "yes I will stand by you and my child," or "no, I don't care and I am walking away." I have been there, and never looked back. Three years I dedicated, and then I am hit with the all too common, "it's not mine." What a cowardly cop out. What he really should have said was, I am too immature to raise a child, I will never amount to anything and you are much better off providing on your own than to have to live with the embarrassment I am fixing to make out of my life. That would be much easier to hear than to never hear from them, never see them, never receive financial support for something you and the dead beat created together to begin with. Now, when it comes to labeling the child because he/she has a dead beat father, I am totally against that. I believe every child was brought into this world with God, and God is leading them. I believe no child is or was a mistake, and it is ultimately up to the parents how they are willing to react with this baby. I love my child regardless of the fact that the Childs father is a loser. I just believe that something should be done to "dead beat dads." I believe that after a certain amount of time they should automatically lose their rights, but should have to start paying or continue to pay for that child for the rest of their life. I believe that if they choose NOT to pay, then the government should take their tax returns for the rest of their lives, and make a point to these dead beat dads that WALKING AWAY IS NOT GOING TO SAVE YOUR BUTT! I have since healed from my mishap, but feel for my child daily, as she has to even be a part of him, but it is what makes her who she is and I would not change that for the world, HOWEVER, some way, somehow, whether it be by ME or by GOD, he will pay for what he has done, or not done and the judgment from God will be a lot more pain striking than any type of punishment he could receive on earth.
